Squealing sound from engine bay

so i just started to get a squealing sound from the bay. I have no clue what it is. i thought it was initially the idler pulley, but after spraying belt dressing on it countless times, the sound still occurs. i was told that it could be signs of my alternator going bad as well as early symptoms of a dying water pump. Does anyone know what this could possibly be? or could it actually be the idler pulley?

--it happens mainly at low RPMs and when i am at idle. however it does occur, very suttle though, when accelerating and sometimes while just cruising. someone please help

kinda sorta. def sound like metal on metal. but that could also mean bearings giving out somewhere on something.
