A few motor questions

The motor in my 1995 gxe has just thru a rod. I found a motor with 67k on it out of a 1998 maxima. Will everything match up ok? Is there anything I will need to get before the motor gets changed? Anyone who has switched there motor or know anything about it please let me know how things turned out.

I dont know anything about it but I wanted to suggest that it would be a good idea to put a new rear main seal on it perhaps before you bolt her down.

Good luck!

yes everything is the same minus the evap and EGR system. However i would suggest you locate a 2000~2001 De-k Maxima motor. As they are in the same price range. Since you are pulling the motor but its up to you. WWW.car-parts.com

You should donate and start looking at the all motor forum for the DEK swap. There is alot involved with the sensors and perhaps the EGR. Most of it bolts up, but there is some slight fabrication if you plan on using the IACV. It all depends on how much down time you can afford and money.

All you have to buy is hte 98 motor. Anything that is different on the 98 can be swapped over from your 95.
