Intake upgrades on auto max

The pop charger and short ram options provide even less low end power than the stock intake for automatics. I've tried the CAI and dont like it. THe hybrid is basically the CAI minus the last extension tube. I've heard that the hybrids work the best for automatics without losing low-end power. Is this true, or are they like others, and take what little low-end power you had away? Just figuring if you are going to have ypipe & high flow cat, you might as well have an intake to help out.

Baiscally, all intakes lose low end torque especially for autos. I have a cone filter and feel a massive losse especially during hot weather, K-TownMax has a short ram, and I think he says he feels the loss too.

I have a solution to your problems but I am not sure you will like it..... get a 6th gen..... put in a bruteforce intake.... jk.... any intake you put on your car will lose you a little bit of low end pwr.... not even noticable if you are a ptm type driver.... intakes are designed for the most flow at highspeeds and high rpm..... if you wanna keep low end then stick with a K&N filter replacement..... if you want the best of both worlds get a bruteforce.... if you want high end get a Cold Air..... good luck either way....
