Subwoofer Hookup

I have a 99 Maxima SE with a Bose headunit. I would like to hookup two 10" Infinity subs, but I am not sure what the outs are and what cords I will need. Can anyone help me, plus I will need directions about getting the head-unit removed.

some people on this site will tell you not to do it. i have mine done and it sounds fine. now i have an aftermarket deck that its hooked up to...but before all i got was a high/low converter and i was able to hook it up with a regular subwoofer wiring kit. and i got the high/low converter at tweeter for $25 i believe...

I'd say to keep it bose until you can afford to get new component speakers all around and a head unit. As for a way to get out your head unit you just pop out the air vents above the center console, and the shifter trim. Then unscrew the four screws at the corners of the rest of whats left in the center console. You might have to remove the ashtray to get to one of the bottom screws. Once you can pull out this peice you should have access to the wires and if you want to change the headunit all you have to do is take the four screw out that hold the radio into the metal bracket and put in an aftermarket one thenadd in a filler to fill in the open spot unless you get a double din reciever. If you need any other help you can usally get all these types of questions answered in the audio forum. Goodluck
