97 5spd, CAI, UDP, Y-pipe, Monza cat back, stock rims, cheap tires, 26+ in the city, 32+ HWY @ speed w/ AC. So, 400 easy all the time, 500+ on trips. Modest driving but like to hit the apex's and sweepers @ speed (tokico/eibach, rear sway, strut brace)

Totally stock 97 Maxima SE auto. Usually 550-560kms to a tank with 95% city driving. It'll head up to the 700km range on highway trips.

I'll generally get in the 400-425 range, however highway driving can give me 28-30mpg getting me well over 500.

not to overkill this thread, but this should really talk about how many MPG's your getting. IMO not how many miles you can get on a tank. who really drains their tank to near empty? i would ask for MPG for a more accurate assumption.

100% stock 1999 SE-L 5spd, and I get 430-480/tank... all city. I kinda grandma it, though. Speed limit, easy launches, shift at 4k... it's SOOO different for me... I used to shift my RX-7 at 12,500rpm, drift every turn, drive the car like it was stolen... also explains the 28 tickets in 6 months that I got with that car. Ahh... the days of youth. Now I keep it on the track (autoX), or drive "normal" because gas is so f'n expensive.

I have a 96 model, 175k with a stock motor and new o2 sensors.. Riding on 17inch 03se model wheels... I usually can get 400-470 miles with very mild driving or highway crusing... More like 350-375 around town and high speed driving 70-80mph....

96 I-30T, 5spd vlsd, 140,000 miles, 15" BBS rims, POP charger, CE Y-pipe, CE cat, Cattman B-pipe, Dynomax turbo muffler, Stillen Aluminum flywheel, 5th gen clutch, Micelin aquatred tires. I drive a 50/50 mix of city and highway miles and average 22 m/g. everytime within 1 m/g. Also have an average range of roughly a 350 miles. I don't know how people could possibly be getting 400 and well plus on these cars.

I get low 300's and i usually fill up with about 1/8th of a tank, so it pretty bad. I dont believe people are getting 400, maybe you all cant do basic math. If anyone has any tips on what to add/replace to improve mileage than please state it. Maybe if i ever hit 400 MPT ill believe you guys.

80% heavy traffic, spirited driving style, ooold fuel filter+spark plugs, balding front tires, slightly out of alignment = 18mpg for me. Just switched the fuel filter/plugs this weekend and getting new tires/alignment today, hoping for a significant improvement.

I got about 400, but I fill up early. So if really push it, I guess it's about 450 highway mileage.

Did you ever punch the gas and then watch as your gas gauge takes a dive?

I get 22-23 miles per gallon on premium in my 97 manual. I've never gotten under 20mpg even with a dirty air filter. I've gotten annoying knocking whenver I've had to use regular instead of premium (because they were out and I was on fumes) so I avoid regular. I got 35+ mpg one time on the highway, but for the most part I get around 30 mpg. I haven't noticed any degradation in my mileage since I got 19x8s, but it seems like it should be a little lower?

I'm pretty sure I could go over 500 miles on a tank on the highway, but I'd be at pucker factor 10 pulling into that gas station.

well i have a 1995 se maxima with a 2001 tranny, lightened flywheel, and cattman exhaust, those are the mods that would make a difference in my mileage i get about 450-490 on a tank of gas with getting on it every so often otherwise my range goes from 27-31 mpg and mostly highway but weekends lots of drivin around.
