Just changed my spark plugs and DAMN!!

The plugs I had in (BOSCH quadfires) were all burned up and ashy with only 6 months in they probably woudn't have lasted longer than a month had I not pulled them out thats how bad they were, I threw them away before it occured to me to take pictures 
, but I put NGK platinums in and started it up...DAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMNNNNNN 
the difference in power is like night and day, the engine now has more power, and accelerates quicker, DRIVING the MAX has been made enjoyable again! 
I recommend putting NGK platinums to anyone with a MAX if you wanna bring out it's full power.

Hey bob-lee - No pinging, just purchased the car it had 85K. I wanted to give it a tune up. Plugs - Fuel filter - Oil Change - Air filter - Got some error codes misfire changed out a few coils with used ones - new Knock Sensor - cleaned my IACV , Throttle body , Sea foamed intake and Gas Tank. Still I'm experiencing erratic idle only when it warms up though. Don't know what it might be it seems it could be a bad connection some where maybe on the MAF or the plug to it or ????. All injectors are clicking equal no abnormal sounds from one to the other. Any Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

U didnt mention u cleaned MAF. more than likely its the MAF or the MAF harness. Check voltages for MAF per FSM. Clean it with MAF cleaner. I dont trust ebay MAFs no matter what anyone say. Get one from autozone, if u need to replace.
SInce its so easy, check impedance on CPS and IACV too. Clean the ground points on the intake manifold for the CKPS and the ground point near the coolant overfill as well.

Actually it says ngk is the oem of some dodges. chrysler uses a few different ones.

for my 89 van it was bosch. dodges come with bosch injectors bosch ignition etc....bosch fuel puimp. I know i replaced all that crap. it says bosch and chrysler right on it.

champion makes good plugs for what it matters

Bosch 4001 Plugs...installed 6 months ago...runs great...any opinions on these plugs??...about 8000 miles so far & running fine & FlieS!....
had original NGK's up to 210k miles.....

Well if you don't have any issues with them just stick to it. You even said yourself the original NGK's lasted you 210K miles. Let's see if the bosch will make it that far.

.....I tried pBosch platinums in a Mazda 626 years ago...pinged like mad and went back to the NGks in that also....but this time around,,,after I did the EGR cleanout and replace back fuel injectors,,,running like a rocket now,,,,I would have put the ngk's back,,but the part s place,,,out of stock.....just looking for some other real experience on this #4001 plug...
