Fog Projector retro?

Looking at (and washing) my mom's QX4 today, I noticed that it had yellow projector foglights that are (sort of) similar in shape to the '97-99 foglights. They won't fit, of course, but I've heard of people doing some foglight projector retrofits. And I'd like to see them.

If anyone out there has done this, please post any pictures you may have regarding foglight retrofits, preferrably for the 4th gen.

Thanks in advance guys.

It's rather difficult with our hard-to-get-apart glass foglight housings ('95-'96 or
'97-'99). Basically, unless you're going with HID fogs (3000k or something) it's really not going to make a big enough difference to justify the work and cost of such a retrofit.

to tell you the truth it wont look as good with projector fogs and regular beamed headlamps ig you want to go projector i would say go all the way so that youll get that doubble line effect i always thought that it would be funny that ppl would bave a blob of light on top of a cutoff line

I wasn't planning on doing a fog retro before I did a headlight retro. I just wanted to see some pics, because people have told me it's been done.

Anyway, on a different note, one of my fogs went out and I'm thinking of getting some luminics yellow bulbs. I dunno..

AFAIK most fogs don't have a rise in the cutoff, so LHS or RHS won't matter..?

Do you have any more info on the yellow tinted ones?
