So out of no where, my truck stopped working. When I push the trunk button on the key remote, I can hear a "pop" sound, but the trunk does not unlatch. Same deal when I push the button in the car. "Pop" and nothing more. However, I can open the trunk with the key, but it's a PITA.

Any ideas?

 

Sounds like the valet lock got pushed down. Open the trunk and lift up on the small lever inside the latch. Thats what the little hole is there for. Its in the section near the trunk floor.
