Thinking about the Apexi WS exhaust!

In general, there's two differences between 95-96 and 97-99 catbacks:
95-96 do not have an O2 sensor bung in the piping because the O2 is in the CAT, so you will need to weld one in yourself if installing on a 97-99.
95-96 are about 1~2 inches shorter in overall length, so the muffler will be tucked underneath the bumper (not flush with the bumper) when installed on a 97-99.
But Apexi now makes the WordSportII catback in 95-96 AND in 97-99 models.

Well I dont have an apexi, but I can tell you how the greddy is, and thats the same as what ewuzh said. The 95-6 units have no o2 sensor bong that you need to have for the 97-9
However, the greddy 97-9 unit is not flush with the bumper, it actually sticks out a tad. This leads me to believe the 1-2inch shorter 95-6 unit fits the 97-9 perfectly. But again I dunno if the apexi is the same, but I thought I would let you know about the greddy regardless.

the apexi doesn't hang low, and it sits about 1 inch in from the rear bumper, so you need to stay on top of cleaning the exhaust marks off the bumper about once a week or so, Plus welding in an 02 bung as others have said
