Can you spraypaint rubber engine hoses?
i was wondering, instead of buying those crappy, cheap, plastic, colored wire loom things, couldn't you just spraypaint some of the rubber hoses whatever color that you want? has anyone done that before?

I've tried it. Not really what I was expecting. It peeled after awhile. Try colored tape.

The paint solvent will attack the rubber and cause early failure.

why would u want to paint those rubber hoses?!?! their so perfect as is! leave them be...

My friend painted his silicone hose and it still is the same color he sprayed it, I don't know about rubber though.

dont do rubber hoses, your just asking for trouble, not worth doing it

It seems like a lot of trouble for some hoses. A lot of taping and what not. Colored tape would probably be easier and last longer.
