Door Pillars

I put on chrome door pillars this weekend and 2 of them I slightly had aligned off so I needed to pull them off and realign them...well, now they are sorta peelin up off on the top where I pulled them at. Any ideas on how to get them to stick back and lay flush on the door? I tried pressing and holding with my fingers for 20 min and that didn't work....Maybe a clamp? or krazy/gorilla glue? I dunno....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
