i have a 99 yes it has the coil pack problems but ot has higher miles i like the automatic homelink garage door opener tails grille headlights addition of side airbags white face with orange needles electroilluminescent gauges and se limited wheels

99 SE-L Titanium Edition. What a rare maxima. Gotta love all the extra cosmetic goodies.

Never ever heard of this and i've been around maximas for a while now. How's this different than he regular SE-L?

I don't know which maxima is better than other maxima. Cosmetic wise, trouble-free wise or overall? How bout a poll for which maxima do you own? The Japan-car or US-car?

97, no major problems with it, keep maintaining it & u'll be good

i am going with 98, since that is what mine is. i have had only one prob, that was the knock sensor

99, since that's what I have.

1998 is the best for me...like everything that is in.....digital climate control odometer...

my dad used to have a 96 and it was the SH*T back in the day he has moved on to the 2002 se, and i moved on to a 99 se-l 5speed and love it more than his old 96 and his new 2002.

id love it too, that crimson blaze is insane, and only available to 4th gens in 99

yeah man... cop target like crazy though... they think im doning like 10mph faster than im really traveling just due to the color, but it so sweet to look at. ive only seen one other crimson blaze in person.

98 for me 1recall since new w/150++ miles

'99 definitely is newer, and has a few more gadgets to make it more "high tech.." - once you get past the coil pack drama, it's all good.

97 is very not bad but 98 i tink is the best, 99 is good too

4th Gen at its finest was 8 years ago.

I vote 98' since it's the one I got and 150,000 miles and still going strong... Almost no problems (some minor)
