The Boy really screwed up...

Re: '95 Max, Pebble Beige. My son was following instructions from a post about removing the hamburger off the trunk. Part of the post said to use oven cleaner on the glue. Worked great but the boy got a few drops on the bumber which immediately took the paint off. I would like to just touch up the spots, the rest of the bumper looks fine. I just bought a few cans of Dupli Color touch up paint. Can I successfully spray the spotted area and blend the paint with a clay bar or compound? It doesn't have to look perfect.
Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge, Duplicolor doesn't make anything that will match CG2 (pebble beige). They may have a beige, but our beige seems to be somewhat unique in the amount of metal flake to it and stuff. Then again, actual CG2 won't match anymore either, likely (I've tried using Nissan touchup paint and it always turns out REALLY dark...like GOLD dark).

I would agree, I have never really found anything that matches our paintjobs. Nissan touchup is the closest, and it comes out darker like Tatanko said.

Why would you use oven cleaner? What's wrong with Goo-Gone or WD-40? I would never use anything toxic like oven cleaner. I debadged emblems plenty of times and never heard of using oven cleaner. Just my .$02.
