covert analog speedometer to digital

Doing my led needles i screwed up my speedometer, now it doesnt work. this mod is such a pain , very tuff to do in my opinion .Anyway does anyone know if you can convert to a Digital speedometer? i have a 97 SE and it has the analog speedometer, with this gauge there is to much crap in the way to set the led in the right position. I tried several times to set it and there is just a small opening to slide the led in there but the opening is just to small to tape the led securly in place even with a 3mm led. any info will help

'95 and up maxima's all run off a digital signal. The clusters are all real similar. I don't expect it would take much to swap one for the other. May have to rewire it a bit or something.

I remember a while ago some dude was selling a digi-cluster w/ wiring harness...I think all you need is to rewire it using some sorta harness and it'll work.
