Two ?'s Sunroof And Carpet
#1: MY SUNROOF WORKS PERFECTLY FINE.....THE LIL PEICE UNDER IT THAT SLIDES BACK AND FORTH...[DONT KNO WHAT U CALL IT]......BUT ANYWAY, ITS LOOSE AS F*UCC AND KEEPS RATTLING.....DOES ANYONE KNO HOW THE F*CK DO I FIX THIS $HIT????????????????????CAN IT BE FIXED????#2: I BOUGHT MY CAR FOR A GOOD AS PRICE 4,500 WITH 89,000 MILES ON IT. BUT THE CARPET IS SHOT
.......SHOULD I GO TO A UPHOLSTERY PLACE TO GET IT DONE OR IF I GET THE CARPET DIRECTLY FROM ANOTHER MAX CAN I DO IT MYSELF....IS IT HARD??
Well, the sunroof shade probably needs new clips so it says in its tracks. Unfortunately you have to get a whole new shade, new or used, with undamaged clips. You will have to take down the head liner to get in there which is a task, but can be done if you take your time and be careful.
The carpet is something like $450 dollars from a Nissan wholesaler like Infiniti of Scottsdale or Pinnacle Nissan. JCW sells carpet for our cars as well which ranges from $180-$240 depending on if you get the 800 or 1000 series. I don't know what the quality is, but its probably better that what you got in there now.
