Any Pics of Brushed Aluminum Dash Kit on Black??
My Dash kit has become increasingly melted over the past years from the sun and I'm thinking about replacing it with brushed aluminum. Wondering what you guys think of it and if you have any photos of it.
I have an all black leather interior and it seems like it would be cool.

I Have Two Friends With Black Maximas And One Has The Aluminum And One Has Silver Carbon Fiber. Both Make Me Wish I Had A Black Max! They Both Look Sick! You Would Do Well With Either One. I Will Try And Have One Or Both E-mail Me Pics So I Can Show You!

From everyone i've heard from the ebay kits and even the other expensive ones suck. They turn colors and peel off after a while. Paint the dash if you want it a different color. It'll look better, last longer, and you can have some pride that you did something to it instead of dropping $$.
Here's mine: It's not brushed aluminum but I like the color better. Aluminum was my first choice before I came across this color. I think it matches great with the black interior.

thank you, Cdg. see how much BETTER that looks folks?!?! i did the same to my gf's 99, and will be doing the same to mine soon enough.
I painted mine a red...thx to whoever wrote up how to paint the dash kit. I need to redo two peices, then I'll get picks up. It adds a lot more to the car than just straight black, and you get pride in telling peeps you did it yourself. Plus you save a buttload of money. Next up: Red LEDS everywhere!!
Wow
some of you guys have done some impressive work! I'd love to change my fake as all hell Oxford Burlwood dash kit to really anything none-fake woodish. Do any of you have experience taking off one of these crapping dash kits???
I have one of the 30 Pc. kits they sell on ebay.

You should be able to pull the pieces off of the dash. You'll have to take the pieces out of the car tho. Do it when you know you want to paint so you can take it all out, pull it all off, then wet sand and all. It's a PITA from what I've heard to clean the dash pieces tho.
