HID installing problem so frustratedd argh =[

so i got my helios hid kit from Group Deals. It arrived yesterday, and installed this morning. I connected all the wires together and mounted the ballasts and igniters. After turning on the headlight, it wouldnt turn on. So i turned it on and off couple times, and then i see my foglight bulbs exploding. So i got scared and pulled everything back out and put on my stock headlights. My friend said i need a "bigger or better battery". I really have no idea, and im so frustrated right now, because i was so excited for brighter lights and spent $300 on it... please give me any advice

I found with mine that the headlight harness connectors were wired incorrectly. You may want to check that.

make sure you are pluggin in the 12v and ground correctly. and check to make sure your 12v is plugged in at low beam, not high beam (common problem)

Answer taking from Jstutter conversion thread

The low beam wire is green with a yellow tracer for the driver’s side and blue with a black tracer for the passenger’s side. The ground for both sides is black with white dots.

last wire is high beam
