O2 Sensors - OE or Universal??
i need new O2 sensors for my 98. Can i just get universal ones and wire them in myself? is it pretty easy? also, do i need an O2 socket? and what brand should i get? i was thinkin Bosch.

It will only be 3-4 wires so I would get universal. You will save about 20bucks and that is almost a 1/2tank of gas.
Rent an o2 sensor socket from Autozone for free. I would go with the cheap Walker brand, I have yet to read anything bad about them.

i got bosch universals for about 25.00 on ebay. they wire in with no problems. definitely get universal. the socket sucked for me, the only way to remove the sensor was w/ an open end wrench. socket was useless. but i do have the stock y-pipe, that could be why the socket was a no go; less working space.

Bosch Universal $27.95 shipped. I bought two front sensors from this guy. They are brand new and work perfectly, and the shipping was fast too. Many other members bought those sensors and that's why I decided to buy them too. They are exactly like the original ones that I removed. You just have to splice the wires of the new sensor and to cut off your old sensor from the harness and connect the new sensor to the harness together using the attached plastic connectors (the wires have the same color scheme - 2 white and 1 black) and then you heat the connector with a lighter in order to seal it and press on it with a rag while it's still hot - this way the rubber will be sealed perfectly.
You will be done in 20 minutes.
Yes you can use an open end wrench.

yeah, the two fronts are exactly the same thing. the only one that's different is the rear sensor. i've been having a hard time finding the rear sensor for my 1995; i was only able to find the fronts (which i ordered from that same link that you ordered from). that seller ships very quickly, and the sensors are brand new, and as advertised.

The same guys is setting NGK OEM sensors. The picture shows 2 black and 1 white wires while the sensor actually has (as you pointed out) 2 while and 1 black wire. I sent him an email to make sure this is the right sensor (thinking may be he posted a wrong picture by mistake)? No answer from them yet and it's been three weeks now.
Do you happen to know anything about it? Can you advise?

You help is appreciated. Thanks man !!!!
