My B&M shifter is all fun until you hit the sun.

I got my b&m sts a couple months ago. Now it is summer and I am finding out how damn hot that shift **** gets. I can't even touch it with my bare hand. Starting to think I might tint the windows to keep that sun out.

I have the same shifter ****. I have tint (extremely dark, pretty much limo) and I do keep a towel over it when not in use. It's still hot as h3ll! Of course it does get pretty hot out here in beautiful arizona......

I just got a nice leather one...no problems with it even in the sun. It just warms up a lil.

just put a towel over it when you leave the car. i have the same SS... but i just put a towel on it when i step outta the car and its fine.

it has nothing to do with bm shifter........it is your choise of *****, get a new **** if it bothers you so much

Yea your shift **** is what metal. Metal gets hot. You need a new shift **** or live with it.

How do you guys like the B&M short shifter? I was considering getting one but I dont want the trouble of having tough shifts. I am sure people talked about them being harder to shift arent they?
