flickering brake light

i swapped wheels to stock and back to the 2k2 ones to go to the track on tues and when i swapped them back on weds, i noticed that when i get on it in 1st and 2nd, the ebrake light flickers. i have messed with the handle to make sure its fully released and it is. could i have knocked something out of place when swapping rims?

Check your brake fluid it is more then likely low. Low brake fluid flips the light.

Fluid being pushed back off of the sensor.

so, i checked the level and it was a little low but still between the marks, so i added a bit to make it in the middle, and now it has started to flicker in 3rd gear. the light still works fine with the ebrake. im stumped.

Add more, right up to the Full mark, because as you brake the fluid level is only going to go lower in the reservoir, so you dont have to worry about spillage or anything.

The only thing that I can guess is that the car is acclerating so fast that the fluid is walling up on the back wall of the reservoir. Try acclerating like a grandma and see if the light still flickers. And top of the fluid its a good practice, especially if you blow a hose or something

i know for a fact that it doesnt when i drive like a granny. i just dont understand why it would do it after i swap wheels, when theres plenty of fluid in the reservoir.
