yeah id say silverstars are one of the best halogen bulbs out there, nothing to ricer blue, but it does have a tint of blue in it. looks a hell of a lot better then normal gay yellow halogens. HID's FTW

If you truly want brightness, you're going to have to go HID. It's not safe to run overwattage bulbs in our housings, regardless of an upgraded wiring harness.

well i already have 6000k helios hid kit for my headlights, but i want something that can match the color of it for my foglights. i went to pep boys today, and they were selling the Silverstar white bulbs for like $20 EACH.

I'm running 9007 bulbs in my headlights with an upgraded harness. Nothings happening there. But I didnt know you could do new harnesses for fogs too.

You asked about brighter bulbs, not ones that were a different color.

You can do new a new harness for practically any light on the car. I have an upgraded harness for my fogs.

i've seen the harness at the auto store when i picked up my 9007 sockets. They are just a male and female connector wire like you said. but i dont think they are upgraded just same as stock.

Uhhh...I dunno if I'd want to take it all off the car again haha. I used 12 guage wiring and a relay. If you have the factory fog housings, it's extremely easy, because as stated above it's just simple male and female connectors. The hardest part is getting the wiring long enough to reach each fog light. I did the whole harness in like 20 minutes. Mine has different grounds, though, since I have projectors retrofitted.

Either way, don't expect the results to be stunning. They are brighter, but nothing to brag about.

all i can say is don't buy PIAA. i've bought 2 pair and spent $120 for both including shipping to my house and the yellow fogs i bought lasted about a year and one went out and the headlights didn't even make it 4 months. they are garbage but don't get me wrong the color is great and the visibility, but def not worth it. silverstars are the favorite here, but i think you might as well go stock for the price cuz they look so similar. best bet is the cheap-os on ebay. a pair for $20 shipped. that's what i've had the best luck with
