you'll need a flat head screw driver(to pop out panels) and a star screwdriver for the screws. First remove the panel around the shifter console(if auto put on Neutral, it's easier), the remove the vents above the defroster switch by un clipping the botom first and pull outwards firmly, but gently. One screw on for the ashtray(left side) and 4 screws for the radio/climate/compartement box. They come out as one unit...then all u have to do is unscrew the radio form it and replace it. Hope it makes sense...or get the fsm

and to get the shifter panel up without risk damage/scratches i found the best way is too unhook the boot from the e-brake and pop it from underneath =]

Its actually a quick and simple process. Once the shifter trim is off you should be able to go right through it. Just look at it and you'll figure it out. Only hard part that I had was the vents. When I first popped them off the vent opened and all the plastic pieces came undo. I had to put them all back together so I could actually use the vent. Just go do it.

Just a tip, the clock/hazard assembly and vents come out as one piece and makes things even easier. There are two clips on the bottom of the clock/hazard piece, just stick a small flat-head screwdriver in and pop them out. Then pull down and out slightly on that assembly and they should both come out together.

When I originally pulled out the clock/vent assembly is when it all came apart. I started using the flathead afterward to push on the top part. There's that other clip that holds the top part in. After I strted using the flathead up top I never had a problem again.
