Is there a way to adjust the latch or bolt up points on the max to make the trunk close tighter?
I get a rattle from my trunk just going over small bumps on the road. It makes my car sound like a 89 rather than a 98.

 

The latch in the trunk is adjustable up and down. Just loosen the 2 10mm bolts and move it as needed. But going to tight will pull the trunk in and make it look uneven when closed. I put a cap around the rubber bump on the trunk lid so it closes tight and has the same gaps when closed.

 

Can you elaborate a lil more on this ? What cap and where do i put it?
