today my girl was sitting on my trunk and then late i tried opening and no go.
Is there any possible way to open the trunk
when i press the trunk release button i hear the clunking noise that engages the locks so i know the mechanism is still working

I dont know if it will solve the problem but it is possible that u locked it from the inside. Take a long thin stick open the hole in the back seat and with a flash light try to find the switch near the lock on the inside of ur trunk, turn it to what ever direction it will go and then try again to pop the trunk.

You may have tripped the remote unlock. If so, you can still open the trunk with your key..
