so the 18" rims will look bad with stock suspension.. :(

Drop the car first...no question there. Find rims after. Get Illuminas or another adjustable setup. Do not run new struts without new springs. Then donate. Trust me, I still havnt been able to donate but I know it would make my life so much easier. That way if you post more of these questions you can tell everyone you already searched and still need help.

i used to have 17"s.... the gap does look terrible.... i def. recommend lowering first... lol

Drop first, because your factory rims will still look decent with it, then rims. I saw the chromies you are looking at on your other post and they look pretty decent. With the chrome window trim on your GLE they should look good!
Do it right.

Did you buy those side rear-view mirrors painted? They signal/flash correct? Where did you get them from and how much.

do whatever, if your deciding on whether or not to get a drop. Then i suggest to get the rims first. thats what happened to me, n everyday i said to myself, that is sooo ugly...n then i get the suspension n bam!!!

I got the signal mirror covers used from another .org member. I'm not going to say how little I paid for them. Check with www.paradox-systems.com for them. I believe they are 130 shipped and then you need to take them someplace to have them painted.

what the crap are you telling this poor guy? no wonder he keeps asking dumb questions if he's getting all this misinformation from people like you.

the illuminas have adjustable dampening, and yes, of course you can pair them with the stock springs, but that will not lower your car. you need new springs if you want to drop it. DON'T run aftermarket SPRINGS on the stock SHOCKS: that will blow the shocks rather quickly.

ps. i'm not usually so nice but i feel bad that you're getting blatantly wrong info from people who claim to know what they're talking about.
