Does anyone have a weight comparison of the aluminum calipers compared to the iron calipers?

Is it worth it?? Depends on what you want. Some decent pads like Hawk HPS and maybe SS lines and good fluid would get the job done for street use.

But if you want the tremendous braking force and to fill the gap inside your wheels then ya it is worth it.

I actually had to do a panic stop the other day. Grandma pulled out in front of me. I am greatful I have them. You stop so fast it is insane. My car does not have ABS, they certainly do lock up quicker than the stock brakes, but the brake feel is tremendous that you can feel from the feedback of the pedal of what it is going to do.

It is up to you in the end if you want the bigger rotors for the streets. If you eventually want to AutoX (like I do), then I think it is a very worth while upgrade. I get crap all the time from the locals about what a waste it is on a Maxima that is just going from point A to B.

But they have never felt the stock brakes on a Max nor ever ridden in one with a BBK so really they can talk trash to me all they want. All I know is if a panic stop were to happen I'm stopping way before they do.

I did it this way. Suspension, Big Brakes, then 3.5. I wouldn't have done it any other way.
