Rear brakes..... caliper....need help..

so i was changing my brake pads and when i thought i was done, it didnt work! i had to turn the piston extremely hard in order to get it back into the caliper. i took of the nut that holds in the fluid, it all came out, and i still had to turning the damn thing so hard to get it back it. so when i out everything back (not the wheel) i bled the brakes and did all that and the damn thing didnt work. u think i need a new caliper or can i fix the piston somehow

LOL. What a surprise this was to me after clamping for like 2 minutes. I eventually used needle nose pliers and after what felt like 1000 1/4 to 1/2 turns it was in. And Turning hard has nothing to do with it. Just turn.

Listen, I turned for 10 minutes before it even started moving. Total turn time was close to 25-30 minutes. Prepare for a sore wrist.

If its very hard to turn the piston then you need to replace it. The caliper is sticking and will cause some pretty nasty problems.

the back brakes needs to be turned... broke a C clamp and learned the hard way that there is a tool.. like a dice and connects to a ratchet to turn.. or use the pliers to turn it back in..

the **** on the back of the pads need to line up with 2 of notches in the piston. rotate the piston until one notch lines up w/ the ***. once you get it the other side will be easy.
