coil boot connection to the spark plug

Sorry if the question's noobish. I just changed the spark plugs in the whip for the first time since buying it last fall and was wondering... when you slide the coil boot down into the plug tube does the boot always secure tight to the plug tip?

Back in the day you had to push a boot firmly onto a plug tip for a good connection but obviously that can't be done with the VQ 30.

It's just weird not being able to see the connection being made.

at least mine didnt have that "snap" feeling like conventional wires. but dont worry, as long as its screwed down (coil pack) its good to go.
