People that are looking for "pretty" things in the engine bay generally don't know WTF they are talking about anyway.

When I go to meets and people open up the hood to a chromed out B16a and people are going "dayyum" I kind of chuckle.

I do like the look of the Mevi, nice and clean, but the oovi looks almost like stock, WITH SO MUCH MORE TO OFFER So I would go with the ooVI without a doubt! I just wish that the oovi was easier to install..thats all

IMO, I think the VQ35 swap is a better idea than a VI of any sort sitting on top a VQ30.

I'll agree on if I hadnt already had the MEVI id go with the 00VI comment, but comparing a 3.5 to the VI is kind of out there when comparing the dollar for dollar swap.
3.5 is of course a bigger gain, but at a much higher cost and much more work and time involved then a VI install.

i'm glad you felt you had to make a point. Good job. That's what the internet's for. Please show me this large amount of horsepower you're gaining, and how that makes any difference when you're racing with extra crap in your trunk. If you like the looks, good for you. But dont give me crap about being concerned about performance.

Okay,

I have driven a boosted maxima (underhood looks like a awful maxze of piping, "jcy98maxse's" car) equiped with a MEVI, and later a DEK swap which obviously contains the 00vi. I cannot tell you how much harder up top the 00vi pulls. It was almost like stepping up from a USIM to a MEVI feeling.

People aren't impressed with how it looks, but if you spank there as^ in a race, then they will be. If your so worried about looks, then why did you buy a 4th gen maxima, they aren't the grandest looking cars, with exceptions to a few like VIPmax

I should have clarified in my particular situation where my A32 is dying and old, and my A33 is nice and new IMO... and well, anything new I do to the A32 will have to big since it needs a lot of work to come back to the way it used to be.

engines need to be as colorless as possible, clean and very very functional. The only time you should dress up your motor, is when the entire car is made for show and not for driving often. my 0.02

If the 00Vi doesnt appeal to you when you open the hood, then leave it closed and go look on the internets for noodz.

I've got a list of my own.
1. the 00vi looks just fine, it looks like a freaking intake manifold, looks like the USIM, looks like any other car's IM. if you don't like how an engine looks, then don't look at it. it's not meant to look pretty, it's meant to press your ass into your seat. you're retarded for liking something more solely because of how it looks UNDER THE HOOD.
2. 00VI > MEVI
3.
4.
5.
6.
7. ok thanks.

i cant believe you are complaining about what something under the hood looks like. i wouldnt give a **** what under my hood looks like, i never see it, and looks dont affect performance. the only people who care that its all pretty and powerful looking, are the dumbasses who dont know anything about cars or how they work
