Best Suspension on EBay PLEASE READ

So after buying my control arms form the Ebay seller Best Suspension or World Suspension whatever he wants to go by.....my ball joint boots are ripping like much of the other memebers have....I wrote them an email stating the problem and demading a refund...they are willing to give refund for the parts but u have to send them back....SO EVERYONE WRITE AN EMAIL TO info@worldsuspension.com Complaining like I did to get him aware since he claims never to have a problem with them....here is the email i sent him

Dear Seller,

Recently I purcahse a set of your Lower Control arms for 95-99 Nissan Maxima
Ebay #140017470834. After having them installed by a local reputable mechanic
and having a front end alignment done I notice after about 3 weeks the boots on
the ball joints starting to tear, and this will cause premature failure of the part. I have also heard from many members of an online forum that have purchased the
same product as me having the same issues.
After spending $181.99 on brand new parts I expect them to hold up to normal everyday driving for a number of years like the OEM parts did. Needless to say I am not very pleased right now. I expect a refund for no less than half of the total amount I paid for the new parts. This will be used for purchase of new genuine NISSAN parts, labor for installation, and another front end alignment. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Christopher J. Kilger
ckilger12@yahoo.com

HIS RESPONSE

Wow, people these days. They can't spell or even type properly.

"please send us the parts to check what they failed" What is that supposed to mean?

"we sale like 50 set of that ones in the mont and never have a problem to those.
thankyou for your time.
"

Rule: always capitalize your first letter of your sentence!

What does mont mean?

It's thank you, two words not one. Seriously did this guy complete 8th grade?

i have bought and installed the whole set from him. the inner, outer tie rod, lca, and endlinks. only thing holding is endlinks. the balljoints are ripping and one of the tie rod broke on me when i was backing out of the driveway. i was real pissed but that is the only non oem part on my car. i bought a moog tie rod and it is much better quality. had to get my car going again. other than that. those are my only problem i had. i only had this on for about 500 miles too.

I bet they are not from the usa (born) when you send an email its translated to their language vise versa lots of time they cant read or write english to well they just know the basic. I ran into one of them on ebay but dont bother just get the nissan parts after 45 days you cant file a claim with pay pal but if you have less than 45 days you can file a claim stating item not as described.

I don't get it?

The part failed and he offered you a full refund if you send back the failed part. Thats even after you were stupid enough to ask for only 1/2 your money back. That sounds like good business practice if you ask me.
Big deal, he can't spell, have you read most of the posts in the 4th gen section lately?

You guys kill me.....

I bought these things too and I didn't put them in yet. I can just see what's going to happen, you send them in and they'll say you installed them incorrectly, so no refund for you. Now you will get another set and pay for it. 2 wins for them and 2 losses for you. Not to mention it'll cost you like $10-15 send it back to them. However, they do have an excellent ebay rating.

thats y i said i had them installed by a reputable....licesned repair shop...most people give them a rating as soon as they get their product shipped to them...not a month after install...i gave them a good rating too....becuase shipping was fast...but 3 weeks later the parts are failing

As stated above, I don't see the problem either.

Buy and install new OEM parts. No downtime. Return crappy parts and get a FULL refund, not 1/2 refund. If they don't refund your money, you were going to buy and install new OEM parts anyway. What's so hard about that?

And Dubbya did warn the org. Search before you buy from Fleabay.

we all did thats y many people bought LCAs from him......had good deals and initally good reviews....and Wizard...I bought mine before Dubbya had posted his issues....and not all of us have the money to throw away like u might.....In response if for some reason I dont get my money back I am out that 200 bux i spent...to me thats alot.....I dont need to get into financial debate but...if i had 400 some dollars to buy Nissan control arms i would...but i bought the ebay stuf to save some money and they had intially good reviews....so i definately dont want to pay for the same stuff twice....so ending my rant...the OE Brand stuff is junk....buy from the other seller that was mentioned in this thread....I started this thread to tell people that have had issues with this particular seller to e-mail him and let him know of the situation with his particular parts....maybe he will switch brands I dunno...I am not *****ing or anything.....sure I am upset but I am going to cut my loses and get as much of my money back as possible and get over it and Install quality ball-joints....in the end I got nice new Control arms...the tie rods look like they are holding up so I am going to swap out ball joints and send him the faulty ones with the receipt for the new ones and hope for the best......

"i'm really sorry fro all the inconvenients this has caused you, mayeb the have send you the wrong parts, please send me all the parts and i will give you a comnplete refund including the shipping that you pay to send them back and i'm really sorry. thank you "

that's gotta be the best grammar this guy used. anyway, too good to sound true, eh? I'll have to ask HIM for a deposit... i wonder what this guy's profit margin is on everything he sells.

i think he did waht the guy in Dubbyas thread did...had one brand of part that was good....got different brand at lower cost and sells those now...if he gets enough complaints maybe he will switch.....again my complaint wasnt with the service he is being resonable....i just want people that have the same problem to speak up to him and get something done....again I have decided to replace the ball joints with GOOD ones....and send him the faulty ones...because i dont want him to send new ones of the same brand that will fail agian

Wow, when these came out I almost got them. The deal was pretty good, and now we know why they are cheap. Good thing I waited. Insted I bought ES bushings and plan getting Moog ball joints. Again it just goes to show, you get what you pay for. Best of luck to those with them who do need a refund.

Good luck with your situation, but even if it was a local place it's not like they would just give you a refund on what you say, they would charge you for another set and then refund when you bring the shotty ones back.

I got a response from this guy, he said he'll give a refund if I return them to him.
I'm thinking Nissan LCA is $175, and Moog ball joint is around $35.
Purchase price on the ebayLCA is around $65, so if I keep this ebayLCA and press Moog b-joints in them I will actually save money over Nissan unit. I have to pay for labor either way.
I'm just hoping that other bushings of this ebay-crap holds up.

How are you guys going about this?

I was just looking on ebay at LCAs and then started searching on here to try to find the company that had the bad ball joints. Well his LCAs were the ones I was looking at. But now I am marking that off my list.

Quick question though. Can you put aftermarket ball joints in stock LCA? I am looking to replace my ball joints, inner tie rods, and replace all with ES bushings.

I was thinking about buying this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nissan-Maxim...item2561f50bbf

I was going to use it while I work on the old stuff, taking out the bushings, cleaning, painting, pressing in new quality ball joints and poly bushings, etc. but after reading this thread I feel it will be a waste of time if it's going to fail so fast. Are they still selling the same parts? Or did they get better?

buy your control arms from FCP IMPORT. Great quality, and it's only 40 bucks. I got mine for about a month now, no issues and my car is just about slammed on K-sport coilovers. Just waiting on skinnier tires so i can go lower.
