Should I reset the ECU?

Should I reset the ECU?

I've just changed my ignition switch and ECTS sensor.. should I reset the ECU after replacing those 2 parts or should it be a simple plug and play?

I think that you should be fine with out resetting the ecu.

But then again resetting it won't have any bad effects unless you do it wrong.

If you replaced the ECTS sensor because it triggered a code, you might want to reset the ECU. That's right, it doesn't hurt to reset it if you do it right.
