I'm thinking about getting a set but I'm worried that they may be to intense for oncoming traffic. My headlights are Hid, but I have them aimed low. Can't really aim the fogs too much. Do you guys have any problems with people flashing their lights at you because of them, or do you feel they are a little to bright in some situations?

i have the 6000k helios in my fogs no problem at all. If you are worried about the headlights blinding people you can go for the CE headlights the lighting pattern will not blind anyone do to the headlight housing. and the output is way better than stock.

 

I have th CE headlights. I'm not worried about them. Just looking for opinions of the fog light scenario.

 

you will be fine with hid fogs. have em have no problems at all with glare.

 

Haha I only upgraded my harness to 9007 and I have people flashing at me. I've aimed 4 or 5 times and I'm still getting flashes. I've just started to flash them back now. I think you'll be ok with the fogs tho.

 

Well you should probably aim them lower then. Park your car on a level surface in the middle of the night, and get in another car (or put your head about 4 1/2 feet off the ground) about 40 feet in front of your car. Adjust your lights downward until an acceptable level of glare is achieved.

People aren't flashing you because they're assholes, they're flashing you because you're blinding them. It's unsafe and very annoying. Please fix it. I've done the 9007 conversion as well and I had to aim my headlights down a considerable amount, due to the greater vertical beam dispersion of the axis filament. You should do the same.

 

They've been aimed down. If I lower them then I can't see and it's dangerous for me.
