Stupid 9004 bulb ?

Hi I just purchased a 9004 Bixenon kit for my 96 maxima. Is 9004 the correct bulb even for HID's on a 96 maxima. Thanks for your time.

If you ordered a 9004 HID conversion kit, you should be fine. 9004 is the bulb we use.

Have you figured out whether the kit is a halogen bulb ziptied to a rebased D2S bulb or some kind of moving shield type of kit? 9004 has two filaments that are offset to create a high and a low beam. D2S bulbs create light with alkali salts in one area, hence no high/low functionality
