blower resistor is burnt out. DIY fix with a screwdriver and about 2 minutes. Do you have a FSM or Chilton/Haynes manual?

My knowledge tells me most answers are in FAQ's

Thanks guys,
haven't been on the boards much, this didn't seem like a FAQ or newbie questions, like "What is a y pipe and which should I buy?" or "how can I tell if what trim level my car is?" I've never seen anybody post anything about there climate control acting up like this. I'll investigate the blower resistor.

I also just found a possible answer to a another very aggravating problem i've had, Kevlo911 had another post in the FAQ on why does my battery light and brake light come on togethee/intermittantly. I had my alternator and battery checked out and everything came out normal. I'm going to try to replace the fuse.

I've been on and off the board for 6 years, back when the web page was green and have not only found this as a great source of info, but a place to develop community. ie a place to talk to others about my car. I know some of the guys in California are like brothers. I know the newbie questions get old but it's a place for maxima owners to meet each other and TALK about cars and even get some support-technical and emotional. I like talking to others in the forum rather than just reading a bulletin board. Thanks for all you help and pointing me in the right direction.
