I just noticed a consistent pop/burp noise coming from my exhaust..what could it be?

I've also had the problem where my car stutters and lightly jerks when I'm stopped and now I think this problem is in sync with the pop/burp noise coming from the exhaust.

What to do now?

its probably because of your aftermarket exhaust. Probably running rich also.

what type of exhaust.....cause aftermarket exahust makes a perfectly runngin car burble....but now u have a studder and u have a 99....COIL PACKS FTL

My car was recently at the shop and I had an exhaust leak so my mechanic told me he cut out the resonator and put a new one in. He then proceeded to tell me that he used the cheapest resonator he could find.

Could that be the problem?

And I've suspected my coils to be goin awhile ago, going to test them sometime this week.

The lack of resonator could cause the burble birpy....but if its studdering and jerking ur couild are prolly on their way out zee door
