replacing the dashboard

hey guys....i was thinking of replacing my dash since it's kinda marred up (I'm the 4th owner of my max!). For those of you who have done this, how much labor and cursing is involved? Anything to look out for, like snags, fragile things breaking, etc?

Also, this may be a stupid question, but how do you go about changing the VIN plate on the 'new' dash? It seems like it's fastened on there pretty good...

thanks

I would suppose it's not that easy. It would take a few hours to take the old one off (that is if you wanna go slow and do it properly) and a few more for the new one. I believe once you take the tag off you'll just have to super glue or epoxy the new one on.
