keyless entry

keyless entry

how do you program a new or used keyless entry beeper for a 98 max.gettin one off ebay and need to know how. and yet my car did come stock with it. previous owner lost it.

Its been a while since I have done it but this is how I remember it:
1. Get in the car and lock the door manually
2. Insert the key in the ignition and remove quickly until the hazards flash
3. Turn the key to the "on" position
4. Press the lock button on the keyless entry and if the hazards flash it is programed.

I am pretty sure thats right...someone will correct me if I'm not :P
