That's strange same thing is happening to me. I have 235/35/19 Evo's with Toyo Proxes 4. It starts to shim between 70-80 MPH. I had tires balanced, and wheels inspected. Found a tire out of round had dealer replace and the shim was still there. I would like to know the same thing? What could be causing this?

Extreamly low profile tires are very very sensitive to imperfections in the tire and even rim/wheel/hub runout. Have a professional inspect the wheel and tire combination as well as your vehicles hub to make sure everything rotates perfectly. Hubcentric rings are a must as well. A roadforce ballance might cure your problem.

Used to be tire shops that would do dymanic balance on your vechicle. Is that what the raod force balance is?

Since you metioned hubcentric rings which are better metal or the poly ones? I cant figure it out both say they are better then the other. I have been running my wheels without them for about 1000 miles and had no problems. If they are tightened properly it shouldnt affect anything.

yeah my maxima has a shim @ 80mph.. but, so do all the other maximas I've riden in. Anywhere else though seems to be unaffected for the most part.
