95-99 coil packs the same?
I have some coil packs to a 97 maxima and was going to install them in my 99 maxima tonight but I cannot get them to fit. The electrical connection is different. Is there a way for me to wire this thing up or are the 99 coils different?

They shouldn't be...i've replaced mine with 97 coils and they fit perfectly. I don't remember if the front and rear have the same connection are you sure your putting them in properly? Short one's in the front long in the back?

They should all be the same. 95-99 engine use the same ignition system. I recently swapped my 99 w/ new coils that I bought from Pinnacle. On the order form I wrote that it was a 96. Everything plugged in fine.

Coil packs
95-99 Maximas use the same coil packs. A good thing to remember when calling an auto parts store for them is:
Front = LEFT
Back = RIGHT.
The front have matching plug-ins and the back have matching plug-ins (you'll see when you take them out).
