pattern failure for warped rotors?
Is having warped rotors a common problem on 99 maximas?
I drive slowly but am now after 25000 miles of having new rotors turned are having the front brake shutter on braking.
Any common assembly problem that will cause this? something sticking? needing lube?
Any idea what the dealer charges for new discs and pads + labor?

having your rotors tunred increases the chances of them warping. so will cheap chinese rotors. dont get dealer rotors as they will cost you $$$$$ and are pretty much the exact same as Brembo rotors. as for pads, dealer pads are fine but i prefer Hawk HPS. better stopping hot or cold and no noise. as for changing them, it is so dead simple you should save yourself a ton of money and do it yourself. if you are afraid to or dont know how you can pm me and i can give you a detailed step by step. that way you save on the parts and labor while still getting superior parts. i had a place that gave me brembos amazingly cheap but they are no longer in business. you can find plenty of low cost places on the net. as for hawks, you can find those online also. there is a group "deal" on both of these in the other section but to be honest with you their prices arent really a deal. not to me anyhow.

I personally subscribe to overly tight lugnuts having something to do with warped rotors. Every time another place touches my car I retorque every lugnut to 80ft-lb. I only use a $25 torque wrench, and I've never had a warped rotor yet on my cars.
Warped rotors have nothing to do with mileage or age. It occurs when it occurs, and it's a permanent thing, just like a warped block or heads.
I throw them away and put on a fresh set of brembo blanks. Good quality, cheap rotors. Turning them isn't always successful; it's not something I'd pay for. I would only allow it if the shop is doing it for free or something.
