Stock alarm system rewire question

I want to rewire my stock alarm system on 99 max, so instead of hazard lights flashing make the corner lights flash. Should be pretty simple, tried to search but no luck.
Has anyone done it? Any write up Links?

thanks

It's not as simple. The wires for the blinkers are wired all the way to the back of the car to the alarm. You would have to cut power from the front blinkers and run the wires from the corner lights to the back of the car.

Imma try to help you... Do you own a DMM,test light or a probe? These tools are used to test the polarity of the wires you need
!. Determine the polarity of the hazard light wire used +/-. A positive wire is commonly used... pretty much all you have to do is cut the orignal conection and extend your wire... you can usually find the parking light wire in the kick panel.. it should be a red wire with a green trace.. hope this helps.
2. If this seems confusing maybe its best to let the pros handle it.

yeh, i wish it was that simple in there. It is a little more complicated than that.

Appreciate your input anyways.

Thanks

that doesnt matter...If you want the corners to light up and not the bumpers you need to find the wire for the bumper lights in the box and cut it. You need to then get power to the corners from the alarm relays in the trunk.

what about locating the the power wire from emergency lights at the actual control unit for the alarm and replacing it with corner lights power? But this sound too easy, i am sure it is more complicated.

Thanks

Look at the wiring diagram in your manual. I dont think that it works like that. I'm thinking that it all is located with the alarm module in the rear. I'm not sure. Do some searching in the manual and in the car.
