My SES light came on the other morning so I checked the code at lunch time and ran the code 0514. IT came up as undefined. I reset the code and it stayed off for 1 day. It came back on this morning and I again checked the code. Same code 0514. I googled it and all I can find was that it is the EGR System.. Does anyone know what this code is?? In Kevlo911's post he says that the scan tool trouble code for 0514 is P1402. But he does not describe it in any other descriptions. I am trying to search for a answer. Any help would be apreciated.

cant tell you for sure but if it says it is the EGR system perhaps it is time to give it a cleaning. how many miles? as far as i have read the most common EGR failures are not from a bad valve itself but from a clogged pipe (usually the small one). it is a bit of work to clean but they do back up a lot. if you are mechanically inclined i would take it apart and clean it out (or buy a new small pipe since they arent that expensive).
