Fan speed control resistors

Hi,

my fans work on 4. It doesnt do anything at 1-2-3. So, Im thinking about the resistors. I finally find a kind of card with two resistors.

My question is:

Well, in qc theres a lot of rain and snow. These kind of punched resistors wont resist for long, so I dont want a new chip. Someone knows about witch resistor it is(xxxohms)??? Because I want to buy good ones to the electronic store.

Thanks

Really on the bottom, right side and there is one plug in it. 2 screws. No needs to remove the glove box, only the little panel in the right corner of the car.
Takes 30 sec.

If you really really look at the bottom, there will be only one plug like this. White and brown. But to be able to see it , you ave th remove the little panel on the right bottom corner of the car (no screw, its clip in). After removing this panel the plug will jump in your face! theres only one.

good luck, and if it takes you more than 30 sec; youre not in the good way, take the other right

this seems like a common problem mine just went and I had to go to the dealership to get a new one i tried junkyards and everything no luck but this was a very easy fix as for how much resistance I'm not sure but I can look at my new chip tomorrow and see if I can read it goodluck and I'm sure you can fix this in no time 30 seconds tops

Peeps,
I had the same issue as you - fan speed worked only on 4. As you know, the part that broke/burned is the Blower Motor Resistor. It is located on the passenger's side, right under the glove box. Just move the seat all the way back, sneak your head down low and you'll see the wiring. Only two screws hold it ( at least on my '97). Once you unscrew it, you'll see that it looks like a credit card glued to the wiring harness. Anyway, the best deal I found was on www.rockauto.com. I ordered it this Sunday, had it at my door on Wednesday. Price was $28 + shipping (~$5). As soon as I installed the new one, Voila - all worked.
Hope this helps.

The original part number has been superceded twice since 95 and is now 27150-2J000(runs around $36 at the Dealership). NAPA also has a listing ECH# BR115(not sure on the price).

Thats prolly the Dealerships Matrix price, Nissan suggested list is around $36, but dealerships have the right to charge as much or less as they want.
