How do I put "Cruise Control" on this steering wheel?

Anyone know how I can put cruise control on this steering wheel?

I don't mind electrical wiring, it's hacking into this steering wheel that I want to avoid. It is going in a 3rd gen w/out an airbag, and I don't care about hooking that part of it up. I just want the cruise to work and have that factory look. Thanks in advance.

Well you need to hack it if you want it on the wheel. Why not mount it somewhere else?

I'd kind of like for it to look factory. The standard wheel in it already has the cruise mounted in the steering wheel front cover (not beside it as this one would be) and I was considering mounting the old buttons in the center console, but that'll be the last resort. I'd much rather hack this one up and wire it up with the existing wiring. Which model of steering wheel mounted cruise control switch would work and where would I need to hack it up at?

Thank you very much for your reply!

well the 4th gen with cruise control will work I believe. Should wire up the same as long as your 3rd gen has it. Need a different wheel hub I think tho.

That's exactly what I was hoping for. Could you show me a pic of the "Cruise Pod" that I will need for this type of steering wheel? Or give me a year/make for the cc switch I need?

My guess is that this one will not work...

It's the only later model switch pic I could come up with, so help identifying this will really help.

Thanks for the help so far.

that switch you have there is for 95 96 models, the buttons for 97-99 are the ones you need, because your steering wheel is from a 97-99. The connections should be straight forward as it was an option for the car
