You may just want to set aside 2 hours, just to make sure you have enough time.

Shouldn't be long after you get the two bolts off the cat. I would invest in a universal joint.

It also depends on if your bolts are rusted or not?
If they are rusted I suggest you go to a local exhaust shop and have them remove them and put new ones one, this way when you go to install the pipe on sat you won't have to worry about anything...

do you need an o2 sensor socket to get those in and out, or is there another way?

I want to get a y pipe but keep wondering if I want to mess with it at all. I don't drive that hard. Can you only feel the extra power past 3k? How is a y pipe with an auto transmission? Fro

Took me about 2 hours the first time. If you live in a snow state and you don't have an impact wrench, have a shop install it.

Recommended: Liquid Wrench penetrant, swiwel socket and lots of extensions.

Took me about an hour. Just get all new bolts and have them ready if you break any. I had to use an air chizzle to get one off.

problem isnt breaking bolts, just do not break any studs on the exhaust manifolds! wd40 and use torque specs from the fsm. I believe Y pipe to exhaust man – 31-35 ft/lbs u can check to make sure. gaskets from autozone too! round ring like crush gaskets

There is an o2 sensor bung in the y-pipe, you need both.
