Has anyone ever done custom Titanium exhaust setup?

saw a 350z at my last auto-x w/ a custom mandrel bent titanium exhaust and my god it sounded loud and so clean! it sounds better than most others cause it has different vibrance characteristics and such but was wonderin if anyone ever done it on a maxima

I dont think so. thats costs a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$ that most maxima owners wouldnt do.

$$$$$$$$$$.......they dont do cause of sound....they do it for weight...they titanium really doesnt sound much different than SS

I don't think you can mandrel bend titanium. All the bent sections of titanium I've seen have tons of little pie sections welded in

yeah, that **** would, in itself, cost as much as, or at least a quarter of the 4th gens on this forum. Not too practical and def no market for the 4th gen max.

leave the Ti for the Evos and STis

ehh yeh i kno it $$$$$ and does save sum weight but was just curious
i kno at least for wrx's there sum really really expensive exhaust systems like in the mid $1000 that sum people would buy just b/c the sound stands out from the rest

Yes, to confirm the JIC is welded sections. Most high-end japanese tuners do their work in this fasion as well on major project cars.

The SOUND can be had other ways for sure. Cattman headers and the old school Stillen y-pipe are probably the best steps towards that kind of smooth burble.
