I am still having cold start issues. When i have the key in the on position with out the car running, the iacv makes this sort of ticking noise. Its like tick, tick.....tick, tick. Kinda deal. Im thnkin the iacv may be bad causing it to not start well in the cold. Anyone know if their iacv makes the same sounds?

All our cars have a ticking noise from the fuel injectors. My car also starts harder in the cold. Almost any car starts harder in the winter as the fluid is thicker in the winter.

well, i kno its not the injectors cuz i can hole the iacv in my hand and i can feel the vibration each time it ticks, and i can hold it close to my ear and hear it coming straight from the iacv. Hard starting, wuta mean, cuz my car will start, jump to 1k, die, start, die, start die. Repeatedly until i give it some gas then its fine after that, its just the first time starting it after its been sitting for awhile.

Clean TB, Clean MAF, Clean IACV, use some Deep Creep to clean the IM.... Problems solved for cold starting.. its only about a 20 min clean job too..

IACV Ticks... that's just what it does. Don't ask me why. Yours, mine, other people's on here. The first time I heard it I thought it couldn't be right... but apparently it is.
