I have a stock cassette/cd/radio unit in my '97 SE. I has cd changer controls on it. My question is what kind of cd changer can be hooked up to it? and where will the cd changer be put ? If in trunk, is the trunk already prewired ?

I'm looking for something that will hold more than 6 cds.

If you want to use the stock Bose controls your stuck with the Oem 6 disk changer. You'll need to run the wiring. I have a write up on it at home. Email me if you'd like a copy.

Cheaper alternative>>>>>>>>>

Go to this site: http://www.premieraudio.com/ ask for a guy named DEVIN, tell him that JULIAN sent you. They sell a CD changer that works great with the BOSE headunit. You will be able to control it with the stock BOSE headunit controls. Cost only $235 and comes with all the cables, and mounting hardware. It works great I have had mine now since March of this year and have had no problems, it even plays HOME BURNED CD's. If you have any questions e-mail me.
