I am leaking oil due to a crack in the main seal. Ive been told its $300 to get fixed. Could this problem possibly be a bad differential bearing? I lose about a half court of oil per day and have been replacing it daily. What type of oil is the best for a Maxima, i live in philly btw.

 

How is a bad diff bearing linked to your motor leaking oil? It either oil from your motor or trans. Seals go bad if it leaking that much get it fixed asap.
