yea.....the manual flip-up ones arnt too bad....they tend to hold their seal for a while....but aftermarket powered IMO are complete garbage....i used to work at a car dealer and we would get cars with aftermarket powered and they would always have issues

has anyone on the .org done this before? I would think it would be a huge PITA, wiring, electrical, and ^^^^.....cutting the roof open wouldn't sound like fun to me.

well cutting the roof really isnt a problem...that have special shears and stuff designed to that stort of thing.....to do an OEM one u would want a donor car cause u would want to take everyhing from the headliner, roof, drainage and electrical to do it right

I would say live without the sunroof completely. I would actually rather not have a sunroof on either my Maxima or 240sx really (especially my 240). I hardly ever use it anymore, and the only time it comes in handy is when I open up the privacy shade/whatever to let light come through to lighten up my window tint when the 5-0 is around.

did he have a power one installed or manual pop-up.....if done right by professionals who know waht they are doing an OEM may be fine....but if ur a noob when i comes to wiring and mechanics.....i woudnt try it.....they can be tricky
